Getting Over Procrastination
Procrastination is something many of us have experienced when trying to achieve a goal. Many will keep doing this when they feel anxious or threatened because they don’t like to feel uncomfortable. In order to combat this, use the 5 minute rule where you focus on doing a small task that is part of achieving your goal for just 5 minutes. After you reach the 5 minute time point, your fight or flight response won’t see the task as threatening which will allow you to continue working on the task at a much more relaxed state.
